Well, this is very difficult.

You can listen to the 9/11 Commission Report of what happened.

Then you can watch "Loose Change" which attempts to debunk a lot of the 9/11 Commission Report.

Then you can watch "Screw Loose Change", which attempts to debunk "Loose Change".

Then you can go online and read all the eyewitness accounts of what happened that day (this would seem to be the best, most truthful option, although when people are scared for their lives,their accounts of what happened might be a little blurry.)

In short, you will probably never know exactly what happened, but when in doubt, trust the New Yorkers, they were there. Better yet, trust the firefighters, they were the ones running inside, when everyone else was running out.

Conspiracy theories, some people need to hold their breath for a really long time past the point of turning blue. Judging by some people, they thought Fahrenheit 911 was a truly objective documentary. HA give me a break !

There seem to have been controlled demolitions at ground zero. By the firmen's own admission, the buildings seem to have been brought down, and testified by many in the area who heard 'explosions'
It is highly doubtful that the fire started by the planes crashing into the buildings could have brought down the steel-re-inforced concrete and as such, also by admission of a demolitions company in the case of one of the buildings-they made the decision to 'pull it' a term often used to refer to a controlled demolition.
The official story does not fully explain these explosions.
