It's going badly. We're fighting a losing battle. Racism is everywhere. But, if you keep fighting against it, at least your conscience will be clear....

Peace!

well, it's progressing, but unfortunately, racism still exists.

I'm a white person, so obviously, my perspective on things is going to be different.

I think that institutionally, racism has really gone down. Granted, there was that thing with Denny's a couple of years ago - but I don't think that we're finding systematic racism on the part of any business.

At the personal level, it's a lot more difficult to get rid of racism. You can't exactly tell a person they can't have racist thoughts - a person is pretty much free to think whatever they'd like.

Also, racism by an individual isn't a crime. To the best of my knowledge, if an individual (not acting on behalf of an organization or company) made racist comments towards you - there's nothing legally you could do.

However, as a whole, I think the country is making progress.

racism against whites and pro black racism is prevalent.

watch your TV . the hero in commercials and shows if they are white are guided by a moral compass who is black. the villain is always white. the idiots are always white. the boss is almost always black.

since Latin people out number blacks how come they are not represented more than blacks on TV?

Nothing abrupt has been done to stop racism. There are rules but those in power are not imposing penalties.

If you mean the systematized laws to prevent one race being able to succeed over another...pretty darn good.

If you mean converting the hearts of every single person to believe in the equality of every single race...I'm not sure that is possible anywhere. That's why the first is so important.
