Or was ND just that over rated, I am a Michigan fan but I just think it is the latter

ND was over-rated and Michigan was under-rated (for a change). Its still a long season and we have many more games to go - but this season is reminding me of 97 with real national championship game will be played during the regular season - that year Michigan had to go to Penn State to get the No. 1 ranking - this year it will be 0SU. This has the look of a very exciting year for Michigan football fans.

Michigan has the potential to beat any team in the nation. N.D was overrated, and Michigan finally played Michigan style football. Now the big question is can Michigan carry on that kind of intensity. If they can and if they do they will without a doubt be the National Champions.
WATCH OUT OHIO STATE!!!!!

I think it's a little of both. I do think Michigan is a quality team, with a fantastic defense. I think they were clicking on all cylinders that game. Will they always play that well? Doubtful. I do think ND was somewhat overrated. Not that they aren't a decent team, but I never felt they were worthy of a #2 rating.

Michigan is a very good team when they put in the effort as they did against Notre Dame which is overrated. Brady Quinn also overrated. However, Michigan doesn't always play to the level they are capable of which means they will not do as well as they want. See also their basketball team too.

I vote for the second part, ND was VASTLY overated. Michigan is top 10-15 good, but not what we saw on saturday against, like i said, a OVERATED ND team.

michigan has good receivers, osu will be the team to beat this year. i am a ND fan and i though they would win but now i think they were overrated, ND don't have a power house running back or defender in there defense.

i think michigan is that good. they have a revamped defense which has been their achilles heel the last couple seasons. Big10 play should tell the truth though.
