DO NOT DO IT!!!

they are SUCH a scam. you pay all this money for classes, and you get NOTHING in return....

i took my son (3), and they told me to pay them $500 for headshots.... the BEST photographer in Los Angeles only charges about 200... then after the pictures are taken, they will show them to "agencies" and if they like him, he'll get jobs...

uh. no. they are so gunna rip you off. you're better off joining a theatre group or taking acting classes at a local community college

My husband taught acting for them and was very discouraged. He said that most of the parents were just dropping off their children for a day-care type situation.

He has been acting for over 20 years and has great insight and experience but found that there wasn't true interest on the side of the children or parents.

I would advise looking up local auditions in your area. If your son can get a couple of shows under his belt, it would be best. You will meet people in the business and you may get better recommendations for acting classes. Good luck!

If you're serious about learning the craft of acting/theatre, you'd be better off taking some community college courses in theatre. If you live near a major city, there are also schools there that have professional classes in acting/theatre.
