I am opting for DBA i.e Doctor in Business Administration. Its a professional doctorate. but i am not sure about its recognition in India. please help me out if you know. Bye.

DBA is now recognized worldwide. Though, I have to admit that the PhD is better known than the other doctorate, the latter would primarily focus on the practitioners point-of-view. This is very important if you work in the corporate world.
I actually want to pursue this degree myself. Since the DBA originated from Europe, this would be accepted by India. Consider this: Harvard Business School is already offering a DBA program. Why should there be anybody out there who will doubt the legitimacy of this degree if one of the most prestigious schools in the world offer it?
