Dr. K: esp, telekinesis, illusion powers. Has a large green gemstone in place of her left eye (it's where he rpowers come from) Grey jumpsuit, long blonde hair. Covers gem with hair, most of the time, unless she is trying to intimidate someone so she can read their mind more easily.
Il'na Princess of Kentagar. Accidentally teleported to Earth from her homeworld, now trying to establish diplomatic relations. Red costume with white trim, stylized gold aircraft or flying creature on breast, high crested helmet, gauntlets with fins on them (for steering in flight.) Jet pack, laser pistol. Blue eyes, long, glossy black hair. Speaks dozens of languages. Some menaces were accidentally transported to earth along with her, but she is hoping poeple don't find that out. (see below, Raptor and Vox Diaboli)
Warrior Woman! Discovered sealed in hardened lava after the volcano Thera erupted, destroying all traces of the advanced civilization. Captain of the (all-female) Royal Guard, treated with violet light to make her strong and tough. Wears leather armor with bronze plates on it in the Cretan snake-goddess style. Carries a short sword, cesti, net and trident, sling and slingstones. When she revived, the museum staff gave her an expense account to lecture on ancient customs and cultures. They did not want to be associated with her as an adventurer, so while Xusa the Undefeated lectured as Suzannah Champion, she fights evil as Warrior Woman!
Crystal: her transparent, immaterial power shields can stop any attack and can also be used to repell any attacker. Her major means of attack is to fly to high altitude and go into a power dive, then pull out and ram into her target with her power shields on. Light blue jumpsuit with yellow striping from shoulders to wrists, and from armpit to ankle. Long red hair, braided and wrapped around her neck in the style of an old-fashioned aviator's scarf. Wear oxygen tanks and mask when flying at high altitudes. Escaped from the secret government project where she had been studies since she was a child and knows very little about the outside world.
Raptor: Discovered her boss at the hospital performing illegal experiments on a gorilla; when she threatened to expose him to the law he kidnapped her and implanted wings in her shoulders (which also came from Il'na's homeworld.) Super alloy claws implanted between toes in order tobe able to cling to things and to rake targets when diving at them in flight. Black bodysuit of bulletproof cloth, huge majestic wings of silvery metal foil. Carries gas grenades, a gas mask and a handgun. Her boss was captures before he could discredit her testimony by forcing her to steal for him with the promise that he would restore her later. Can't sleep on her back, anymore. Wears a hawk-mask that leaves the lower half of her face exposed. Brown hair, green eyes.
Vox Diaboli: another victim of the evil doctor. When she swore that she would testify against him, he implanted a super voice box in her (from Il'na's homeworld) so that she cannot speak below 120 db sound intensity. Now her voice destroys things (she has gone deaf) and nobody can understand what she says. She communicates with sign language. Brown hair and hazel eyes. Brown bodysuit with shawl tied around waist, domino mask. Can use her voice in offensive (attack) mode or defensive (sonic force field.)
Mirror: Vanity Mira d'Argent, a fashion model, was visiting her scientist uncle and stumbled through a dimensional portal he invented into a mirror dimension. When she emerged, she was a living mirror image, able to reflect any energy attack back at the attacker. She can also travel from one place to another by stepping into a mirror and out through another one at her destination. They must be big enough for her to fit through, otherwise she can only reach through with her hand. She speaks backward and her handwriting can only be read in a mirror. Long hair, between brown and blonde, green eyes, wears a variety of outfits, mostly running or biking (sports) outfits, because her modelling contracts call for her to endorse them by wearing them in public.
Lady Luck: doesn't know she has any super powers. She is lucky and gives good luck to her friends and bad luck to her enemies. A winning gambler, got a movie role when an actress broke a fingernail the day before shooting, got a recording contract when a friend got laryngitis and asked her to do backup vocals, etc. has never worked a day in her life. The other heroines think she is a glory hog but she is very sweet and nice and only wants to help people. She craves excitement and can't get it any more with risky extreme sports because she never gets hurt. Curly hair, bobbed above her shoulders, looks great no matter what she wears. (She got her name from the casino owners, who noticed that she always seems to win big) When Lady Luck is around the bad guys always miss their shot or trip on things, and the good guys figure out the secret in time to stop the evil plans.
I have used all these ideas in a campaign, so please don't steal them. But you are welcome to dress up as one of my characters.
