Pretty much most ambient electronic music will do the job. Sometimes triphop like Thievery Corporation works. If you prefer non-electronic based music...dabble in post-rock. Usually instrumentals are better than pieces with lyrics.

Well I would say the best would be from Enigma and Enya. Both are seperate groups, But the trance music is Awesome !

It truly depends on you. I find that acoustic guitar music or acoustic rock really relaxes me. Thrash metal puts me to sleep. Classical music with higher notes makes me nervous. Find what makes you happy and go with it. Don't let other people tell you how music (or art or literature) should make you feel.

well it really depends what is causing my uneasiness to start with..
but normally any music brings joy to my heart..
but the likes of Kenny G have always managed to calm me down but then too much of it will then make me cry.. so when i am sad, i usually go for some upbeat music with neutral lyrics, no emotional stuff coz i'll end up crying..

I really enjoy the meditation music, with the sounds of different animals and birds, waterfalls, nature in the background, strings and wind instruments, that's nice, and I enjoy Celtic, very nice.
My very all time favorite is Van Morrison,all of his music one of my favorites is Enlightenment, I could fall asleep to his albums.
