seeing the many homeless in our city, state even country, but working with city first. out in the street with their signs wanting food and money for work or will work for food, then you have the families with children out there, would you or do you take your time out to talk help or give them some food, or money or even clothes or a blanket or maybe even advice. if not do you ever think that it could be you? or are you afraid that someone would try to take your kindness for weakness and pan handle to hustle you and rob you. all homeless citizens was not by choice, but chance

I would help them and wished I was rich enough to buy or build a homeless shelter for them. I would also give them money or help find them a place to stay as well. There are good homeless people and bad ones. Deal with the bad ones by praying for them. If one is able to give in helping, then help them.

Not afraid they will rob me at all. I want to help but I'm not sure giving cash is always the right thing to do either.
Maybe donate cash or clothes to a shelter or center where homeless people can at least find food and a warm bed as a first step to getting back on their feet.
I'm sure that's what I would appreciate most in the same position.

i do give food and clothes but never money bc you do not know what they are going to do with it. But at least food they can eat it and with clothes they can wear them. But with money it is way to easy to buy things that they really do not need with the others it a little harder to buy things that they do no need. Where i live now i they refuse to put a soup kitchen in the county council say that it will atract homeless but i hate to break to them we already have them here i feel bad for them but the concil does not want to listen. They do have a soup kitchen they say but it is 30 minutes away by car! They are ignorant. I do my best to help the ones that our in my town that can not get to that soup kitchen. There is a place here that sells clothes for 10 cents to a dollar and if they can not afford that they give them away i donate my clothes to them bc it is just normal ppl tying to help the community. So i do not run from the homeless bc most can not help that they are where they are. Plus once you are there it is hard to get jobs so i hate when ppl say get a job to them bc they cant bc they have no address and they have no clean clothes to go to interviews in and they can not get showers so how are they supposed to get jobs if no one will hire them in the first place. i am sorry for running off course,

in maximum situations that's against the regulation to tutor somebody away at a scientific institution. If grew to become away they could sue that scientific institution and that they'd not be homeless for long after that. lots of the homeless interior the U. S. are that way because of the fact they want to be that way. i understand of a minimum of a nil.5 dozen "homeless" those that have numerous 1000's of greenbacks interior the financial business enterprise yet they choose for to stay in a dumpster with out expenses and no one telling them what to do. those human beings often do no longer visit hospitals. No offense yet i've got seen and study the scientific therapy the Canadians get and in my view, i'm going to keep my American citizenship and all of my unfastened scientific that I extremely have now as consequently the militia. it is so lame to anticipate the government to pay for my existence as quickly as I've labored no longer trouble-free all my existence.

depends on the time of day, the appearance of the person, the place where they are located and if your alone. Most of these people beg for money to supply their drug habits or for alcohol. Give them food/blankets etc in the day time. My grandfather and my uncle chose to be homeless because of their drinking habits. They chose it, my family members welcomed them to live with them but they chose the lifestyle. So many do choose this. But help them out with food and blankets if its in your heart

I would help them, give them what I was able to give etc. I would not be afraid of them. I dont think that criminal activities put them in the position of being homeless all the time. Most are just victims of circumstance like they lost their job or something. They say that, in the US, you are always one paycheck away from being homeless. They also say to 'do unto others as you would have done to you'. I would sure hope someone would try to help me if I needed it. So, I always try to help to the best of my ability.

give your time and money to a homeless shelter for them. that is the best thing that you can do. lobby in the government to have them allocate funds toward the places that help. do something like that. giving them blankets and clothing is good also though. Just be careful.

So, you are assuming everyone here lives in your city? . The homeless where I live have it pretty good. 3 nutritious meals a day, a bed to sleep in when its cold. washers and dryers to clean their clothes while they are in the shower, social workers ready with apartments if they ever decide to join the rest of the world, methadone clinics right downtown where they like to hang out, and nice fat welfare cheques on the last day of every month. I wish I had it that good. Oh, and free health and dental care. My daughter works in one of the urgent care centers they frequent.

Its by choice sometimes.... I know of one that refuses help from his family. I would give a homeless person food, but not money. You don't know what their going to do with the money.

I give food to homeless all the time. I pick up hitchhikers, if I feel like I am supposed to.
