I cant stand nosey neighbours, there is an old bird across the road to me, who looks out her window all the time. Mind your own business, if you need to know anything then they will tell you. The fact you have to write a detailed question on here about it, you sound like a real nosey neighbour, Id hate to live next door to you.

The police go to everything no matter what if it's an emergency call they have to go..but u can call the local hospitals and give the name of the lady or the child and they will let u know if they r in the hospital..FYI..that's not nosey ur a concerned neighbor..

If you know this person, maybe you could go to the nearest hospital and ask what room she is in to see how she is doing. The police will always come on any 911 calls for the most part. Also try looking in the paper to see if it made a story. I do hope everything is ok with her.

Your best bet would be to wait til everything has calmed and i'm sure if you're close to your neighbour, she'll tell you if something is very wrong and needs a shoulder to cry on. I know curiosity is extremely frustrating but it is not your right to know other people's business and if you go to the police, they'll write you off as the nosey neighbour and they can't disclose information anyway. Just be patient, you'll find out in due course. You're not nosey as such, it's simply in our nature

You could just pop in to see if there is anything you can do to help out. Dont ask questions, if there is something she wants to get off her chest your neighbour will do it in her own time. It might just be something minor, some people cant cope with simple accidents and call for the emergency services without thinking.

Depends if you just want to find out what was going down or are genuinely concerned and want to help. if it's the first then leave them alone. If it's the second then drop a note saying that you are there for her if she needs any help but do not pry. Everyone hates nosey neighbours......

Perhaps you could go to the hospital and see if the woman is still there, which i presume she will be, and ask if you could talk to her, if thats possible to do, tell her you're very concerned and is everything alright, if she feels as though she doesn't want to say, respect that, she might just come round later on.

I think you should casually ask your neighbours what happened, say it like you was sleeping and got woken up and you are really worried is everything ok?
The police won't tell you anything unless they are doing an enquiry and need to come and ask you questions about anyhting strange happening

Look for her and ask her what happened. Tell her you were so worried when you saw her leave in an ambulance. Offer her you help as to anything you can do for her. Be sincere and empathetic.

This is what i would of done if it was a Friend! I would of gone straight out side asked her if everything was o.k & did she need anything taking to the hospital! That way you would of know & put your mind at rest last night... Or get yourself to the hospital in question!
