I want to get this clear. Are you asking for explanations of English phrases or what? Looking someone straight in the eyes means making eye contact, it usually signifies you are being honest or sincere with them. Hope this helps

Basically it means aggression. If you were to look an animal in the eye for a long period of time usually it will start growling at you or respond in a defensive manner.

To me, it would make me fell like you are honest and upfront, like you have nothing to hide and you make no apologies for who you are. I have a hard time not being turned by guys that do that, although marriage keeps me out of trouble.
