Hi Melissa, No need to worry.1 good reason that they circumcised males, is they have a hard time keeping theirselves clean under the skin.I think also,Your husband has you in mind to.If they cannot keep that area clean, you could get a bad infection, and thats not good.Is penis is still the same, but the head will be showing.Your love making well be has joyable as before. So be cool, and go along with your husband, things will be the same.I wonder why is mother didn't have him circumcised, after he was born.It would of been alot easier on him.Stick by your man,and give him the support he needs.I almost forgot,No i have never been in a situation like this, but a mans penis doesn't look bad at all after circumcised. I havent had it done, but my father did,as he was told that it increased the sensitivity, on the withdrawl stroke as having a forskin, the skin folds back over the head reducing the sensitivity. But he then went on to tell me that it was much of a muchness, as having the foreskin, the skin slides back, also making easier entrance if the woman is slightly dry, and the head is much more sensitive as it has been protected all its time by the foreskin, whereas the circumsized head has been exposed to rub against the underclothing and has become accustomed to sensitivity. He advised me to hang on to my foreskin, so i have, and now at 56, i have no regrets, as a matter of fact, my wife had to have a hysterectomy some time ago, and she does not produce the natural lubricants anymore, and if i was totaly dry, then it probably would be painfull for her without the use of gels.

well i guess it really doesnt make a difference - i think... just that his hygiene down there will be a lot better, but as for lovemaking, it shouldnt change anything..
I am just a bit worried about him getting it done as an adult..

It will look better, yes. But there might be a decrease in sensitivity with the loss of excess foreskin. Why does he want to get circumsized now? Is it for religious or cosmetic reasons? Unless the excess foreskin is bothering one or both of you, I don't see a reason to change things. It won't make it bigger.

IT's all in how the guy feels about it. I prefer uncircumcised because of the lack of scar tissue.

I think I would be more inclined to ask him why now, as an adult and after marriage would he want to subject himself to that kind of pain.
