Yes they can but as a parent I would not advise it, a child can sit in the front seat of a car depending on their weight however if it has an airbag it is not advisable until their head would be above impact from the airbag as the airbag could decapitate or suffocate.

Absolutely not! If you look at the info in your owner's manual or the sun visors, the warning is there! No child under 12 can sit in the front passenger seat with an airbag, PERIOD! If you do that, well, see the tragic results for yourself.

In florida a child must be 49" tall to ride w/o a booster seat anywhere in the car & also 49" or more to ride in front seat. This is just over 4' tall (4'1"), but I would make sure their seat (bucket seat) is at its farthest back position as well !!!
I am an adult, but I am quite short (5'1") & when I drive I have to have the seat almost as far forward as it will go & it scares me that the AIRBAG may one day kill me!!! I've considered having it disconnected, but havent had the $$$

Yes. They have to be in a booster seat if under 135cm tall but no airbag if its a baby seat. The only reason they should be in the front is if there is no room in the back.

No! It's about the seatbelt size not whether there's an airbag.

it all depends on the height of the child... go to Halfords and they have a guide that your child stands next to and depending on the height it shows the law for them
