Hi! that is a fun question, I'm french and I didn't know the expression "pardon my french", that's very funny for french people (yeah, that's true, we always swear). But we never say pardon my english!

Ya know I was wondering the same thing. I just don't understand why people say, "pardon my french" when saying words like f u c k or a s s hole or son of a b i t c h. I always thought those were English words?

I always thought we say pardon my french when we say something foul because people think the french are rude. I think the french would have to do something like over eat and burp to say pardon my english because they think we're fat pigs.
