My commission is USD2 for every total sales of USD1000, 0.2%. I am selling aircraft parts & engine.

Do some research, find out what other firms are paying and then present this to him. There may be reasons why he is paying lower commissions. Operating costs which he may not want to discuss with staff. IF you don't get the increase then you have know which company to submit your resume to.

I would give him a completely worked spreadsheet showing him how much MORE he could make with a better incentive system. Work it on 2%, 5% and 10%. I mean I assume you would sell proportionately more if you were excited by the incentive scheme?
