Yes. Oddly enough this is the 'true' Filipino way of eating. They also pick up food and put it on their plates this way as well. Go figure.

Yeah...that's a tradition in the Philippines so it's okay to eat with your bare hands. Besides, if some peoples does it, you might as well join the club unless your kinda embarrass
