It is all about the money, fame and the fact that he is famous.
Some athletes just don't know when to call it quits.

He still loves to play, and he still can play. The loss against the Saints was a close one. Once the Packers got the lead, good ole McCarthy decided to press the run a bit more, which ultimately sucked (again) and they ended up having to fight from behind. At least they made it close.
Favre is helping out his team this year. It may not be in the wins column this year, but next year, and the year after his time here will definitely be noticed. this year he is helping out our 13 rookies and showing them how to dedicate themselves to the NFL, also, by him going out there and getting chased and giving experience to the O-line, it gives Aaron Rodgers one more year to prepare for his debut.
All in all it was a good decision for Brett to come back, he's having fun, it helps out the team, and we get to see him throw his 100 mph fast balls at Donald Driver. :-) We'll win some this year, and lose some, it's the 70's-80's all over again.

He didn;t want to retire on a bad winning streak for his last season. Ya, looks like it's gonna be another year. GB moved around his offense...which was dumb. At least Ahman Green is still there. Farve is my man and I BELIEVE!!

First off, it's Favre, not Farve, and he came back because he felt like he would be able to help our beloved Packers rebound off of the dissapointing season. I hope we are able to, but in seriousness doubt it. It's obvious he can still play, but in all honesty, we need to pass the reigns on

Favre is asking himself the exact some question as I type this. The offense is the worse it has been since his arrival from the Falcons. The O-Line is particularly offensive. He could get seriously injured if he is not careful.

Because he's an egomaniac, Green Bay fans are morons, and he couldn't stand it if John Madden's lust got shifted to Peyton Manning.
