you need to visit your gp asap. if you have had these symptoms for some time. as a nurse working in a&e its what we call a renal colic pain. yous may need to have an ultrasound scan to check you have no kidneys stones and you tubes connecting from your kidney to your bladder are working properly. DONT PANIC NONE OF THESE ARE VERY SERIOUS! it could be any number of things , i really do reconmend that you go to your gp. he can arrange all sorts of tests to sort out the problem. if you are feeling sick then try MOTILIUM (domperidome) yopu can get this at any chemists and it stops the sicky feeling.
good luck i hope you feel better soon.

Whatever you do, see a doctor, SOON. Getting sharp pains in any part of your body is NEVER good. It's your body's way of telling you something is wrong. Listen to it and get medical attention NOW. It will not get better on it own. DO NOT IGNORE THE PAIN. And don't just try to mask the pain with medication. Make sure to take notes of the symptoms, write it down if needed, and tell the doctor exactly what type of pain it is and when it happens. The more detailed information you give a doctor, the better he will be able to make a diganosis. Good luck.

It sounds like a gallbladder problem. You can check this pretty easy - eat a really high fat meal and see if the pain gets worse. If it does - then it probably is gallbladder. See the doc.
If you have diarrhea and/or constipation - you probably have irritable bowel syndrome - which is easily treated. See doc.
Sometimes - even a stomach ulcer will hurt back towards your back and kidney area. Again see the doc.
Main thing is - you need to be evaluated by a doctor. Good luck!

You understand that you need to see a doctor and not to rely on Internet answers, don't you? Pain is the body's way of telling you something is wrong and needs to be addressed. It could be minor or major. Pain in the flanks could be anything from muscle pain to a problem with your kidneys.
Add an upset stomach everytime you eat and you have a clear message that your body needs a little help.

This sounds as though there is a serious problem you have and one that needs proper diagnosis.
I would STRONGLY suggest that you see your doctor as a matter of urgency or go to your local A & E to make sure there is not a majo problem.
I hope you are well soon, all the best
