Very sad - Too bad drugs took away such an incredible talent. I had seen him twice in concert & he was nothing short of incredible. One minute playing incredible rock, the next minute a slow blues number. No matter what he did, he pushed the envelope. Incredibly versatile & gifted but still a humble and friendly guy who loved to joke around with friends.

yeah. r.i.p. peter brock. he died on the 8th of september, 2006, at the age of 61 in a car accident. he was one of Australia's best-known and most successful Australian motor racing drivers. He won the Bathurst 1000 endurance race nine times, the Sandown 500 touring car race nine times and the Australian Touring Car Championship three times. he skidded off a downhill left-hand bend for over 50 metres in his 2001 Daytona Coupé and hit a tree. he was killed instantly. his funeral is tomorrow. sad day in motor racing history.
