This is a good question
i a transsexual and there for i do want to be treated as a female but i do not expect many gay guys would like being treated like one
Just becouse they like other man it dose not make them any less of a man, this is the same for lesbian women just because they are too gay it dose not make them less likely to be a lady.
if you do have a gay friend that likes to being treated like a lady then do so if you want everybody is differant

Personally, i would be insulted if they treat me like lady! I feel male in the deepest sense and the fact I fall for other men does not make me woman in any way.
Still, there are different people, and everybody has it's approach toward his/her sex. If I want to be treated like a lady, I would make myself look like a lady, and refer to myself as a lady. Then I guess this wish of mine should be respected. But if not, I find it a not very intelligent "label" that being gay is necessarily feeling unconfrotable with your sex! We should respect both cases, but always remeber homosexuality does not always mean that a gay boy don't want to be boy, but a girl.
And of course, treatment must always be like toward a human and an equal, so lady or not, nice manners are obligatory!
Just some details to add...
Different treatment toward sexes is product of long huistorical evolution and without any doubt its basis is inequality, the prejudice that man is somehow superior than woman. Intentionally or not, sometimes without consciously knowing it, men still do it. Some think we should call it off and at once stop acting like this, but I think a more realistic view is we have to change gradually. The fact people are free to express their sexuality independent of their sex is clashing with the conventional expressions and this lead to the whole confusion. The perfect case would be if we don't differ our behaviour in accordance with the sex and/or sexual orientation of the other part, but as we still do it, it is better I think to let the other part, every individual actually, put oneself in the position he/she wants, and the rest is a matter of tolerance, respect, and understanding.
Sorry for being so wordy.

In a note - uncomfortable. that's surpassed off to me earlier a pair circumstances, and that's merely atypical. even as i think that's continually powerful to be complimented, and to an volume that's flattering, it truly has the flair to make issues uncomfortable for anybody. I merely with politeness stated that i'm no longer gay, so I wasn't fascinated. And that change into especially a lot that. the 2d time, I requested the fellow why they theory i'd be gay, and he stated "i did not quite. no longer a lot of human beings round listed the following are... I merely figured it may well be more beneficial positive to take a probability and ask besides." even as i did not quite care too a lot, i ought to be certain an excellent variety of adult men being indignant through their "accusation." i'd in worry-free words be indignant/aggravated if he persisted to press after i change into well mannered once.

This is a very good question, everybody has a right to express their sexuality. There is nothing depraved or filthy about being a gay homosexual. It's perfectly normal for one man to stick his penis into another man's dung.
I think the best way is that if the homosexual is actually DRESSED as a woman then you should treat them as a lady. This will avoid offending anyone.

Most men who happen to be gay would be insulted if you attempted to treat them as ladies.
I really can't believe you speak to these "gay people that you know" because they would tell you in no uncertain terms where to get off!

Im not gay, but my gay friends are treated by me the same way as if they were not gay. I mean, it doesnt even cross my mind that I need to treat them different!
Just because a man is gay it does not mean he wishes to be a female!

Some here might call you a homophobe, but I understand your question because I and some friends wondered the same thing. Some gay guys can act so feminine that I'm not sure if I'm insulting them by seeing them only as a guy in conversations.

Oh dear.........am I male or female because i take it like a man?
You need to know the person you are talking to - that does involve actually talking to them not only indulging in anecdotes and viewing body language.
You should and shouldn't be suprised - human actions/speech portray and also hide a great array of emotion.
If you are wondering, is it not the greatest honour and trust to bear your uncertainty/curiousity and actually ask
By the way, am not offended as sometimes I am a big girl and sometimes a grrrown man.......

No. Actually I've been insulted when a straight guy opened the door for me and told me ladies first.
