I was thinking maybe a costume party. People will more then likely already have them for Halloween. Do spooky themes, like black cats and smoke and stuff. Good luck and Happy Birthday!

Have a masked costume party with scary games, a costume contest, a contest to see if everyone can guess who's behind which mask, and a midnight unmasking. The food can be creepy stuff, like gummy worms and all that.
Or you could hold a seance in a graveyard after dark.
Just stay away from the Ouija boards-- I've heard they can invite in real dark spirits.
Ooh... here's one that's just so cool: start your party in the afternoon as a decorating party. Decorate the house with friends, seeing who can come up with the most creepy ideas with ordinary and Halloween stuff. Then do the costume party, but you might want to unmask earlier. Have a best friend or two for a sleepover, but have some other friends have sleepovers at two other houses, at least, and then begin seances and scary movies, with intermissions at designated times. Try sending and receiving mental messages with friends at other houses. Tell scary stories over the phone. You call them and disguise your voice and have them do the same to you, saying scary stuff and seeing if you can guess who's on the phone (make a game, with points, of this one and maybe some of the others). Have Scary Charades and Win, Lose, or Die (uh, Draw) with scary phrases, movie and book names, and characters. At the end of the night, tally points. Whoever has the most points gets a prize-- a DVD of a new scary movie, maybe!

My husband shares the same birthday. We're going to a concert, but afterwords we'll have cake with some friends. I think I'm going to put black cats on his cake.

Why not have an "unlucky" theme. Break a mirror, walk under a ladder, spill salt, etc...

Stay off of Elm Street and don't go to the Bates Motel. Have a Happy Birthday!

Just enjoy your birthday like all your birthdays in the past! Friday the 13th isn't supposed to be scary. It's nothing but superstition. Don't let it spoil your special day.

Congratulations, lock yourself up and scare yourself silly. Or you could lock your friends in with you too (preferably the handsome ones) but that wouldn't be too scary...
