Nissan parts are cheaper. Honda performs better. The new Altima is hot. The new accord is hotter. If you have the money and want an image, go for the honda. If you want reliability and cheaper spares, get the nissan.
I drive a nissan as my car, but i had a honda as a company car.

My Honda Accord is 20yrs old under 90 original miles and
runs well. I've never even seen an Altima of that vintage but then again I haven't been looking either!
