If the service provider over there in the Philippines is GSM based and you can get the phone UNLOCKED from T Mobile then maybe. From what I've read, it's really difficult to get a Sidekick to work FULLY with providers other than T Mobile. The Sidekick was designed and built for T Mobile exclusively. It will require a lot web searching for you to get the phone to HALF work on another network.

Good Luck

You might be able to use VOICE services if you get it unlocked..

but DATA (web browsing, etc.) will NOT work anywhere but on the T-mobile network. Danger Sidekick uses danger's/t-mobiles servers as a proxy. Web pages on the Sidekick will not load without access to t-mobile.
