If The leaders of Islam do not condemn terrorism, isn't the Pope echoing all our feelings?

i imagine it really is time for Muslims to pick what it really is they stand for. Don’t you note the irony in Muslims being waiting to desecrate a Christian Temple in Jerusalem through spreading feces on pictures of Christ? yet a Christian chief (the Pope) can’t remind human beings of what 14th century Byzantine emperor Manuel Paleolous II stated about the income Mohammad various hundred years in the past. It wasn’t even the Popes personal words or theory. He change into repeating what Paleolous II supposedly stated. . What’s with the allergy besides? The Muslims can dance interior the streets; shout and yell; develop their fists all they prefer to yet i do no longer trust the Pope owes Muslims an apology for something. some have contended the terrorists are a spread of radical Islam and a small minority of the religion. they say the tremendous majority of Muslims are a non violent human beings. i'm beginning to ask your self about those claims when I see the stated tens of millions interior the streets protesting what the Pope repeated. 2 confronted or what? Is Islam a non violent faith or a violence depending faith? through what i'm seeing and listening to, i'd ought to finish the latter.

Fuel and Fire

The Pope’s comments are not great, even if I am a Catholic I cannot see this helping matters. However the comments from the hundreds of Muslim clerics around the world are not either. I was thinking to myself that if there were a leader of the Islamic faith wether he would be calling for a fire truck.
It is easy to slander the Pope now but it is even easier to hide in the masses AND THROW STONES.

The young of this world do not need to here silly old men sell silly old doctrine. I do not care who they are.
I am not a communist but Mao Zedong did have a good idea in his “FOUR OLDS”

Old Custom, Old Culture, Old Habits, and Old Ideas.

How long are we going to regergitate this crap.

I'm not on either side and the millions who believe "you", than god help them.

It actually wasn't on Islam and Christianity, but on the borrowing from the Greek philosophers of the idea of synthesis between rational thought and religious faith.

He used an obscure historical reference to condemn religious violence (a reference that happened to have been published recently by a scholar at the Universitat Regensburg, where he was speaking), which really is in line with his previous official statements on Islam:

"Dear [Muslim] friends, I am profoundly convinced that we must not yield to the negative pressures in our midst, but must affirm the values of mutual respect, solidarity and peace. The life of every human being is sacred, both for Christians and for Muslims. There is plenty of scope for us to act together in the service of fundamental moral values." General Audience 08/20/05

[To the leaders of Muslim communities] "I expressed the hopes and worries of the rough time in history that we are living through, in the hope that fanaticism and violence will be uprooted and that we will always be able to work together to defend human dignity and protect the fundamental rights of men and women. lets see...the Pope says Islam is/was spread by the sword. Muslims are so upset at the accusations of being violent that they are firebombing churches. Go figure.

The Pope is speaking the truth. He is saying what everyone is afraid to say. He should not apologize for anything.

The Pope should talk about Christianity and worry about the shrinking number of European and American followers of the faith; and avoid negative comments on other religions.
