Hello, and congratulations. Motif....hmm. My husband and I centered our wedding around Ecc 4:12 and used a "Tying the Knot" theme. Our table runners were sheer and loosely knotted with flowers tucked in; we had a "Cordbearer" instead of a ringbearer, and tied three cords together into a wedding knot during the ceremony (the cords were one each of our wedding colors, and now I have a lovely keepsake to remind us of our vows)...

It's up to you, hun... I wanted a "gothic" (victorian-era formal stuff, not cheap Halloween garbage) wedding that would last from sunset to sunrise, but that's kindda hard to pull off. (We would start the day as husband and wife.)

Do you want something more traditional or unique? I'd suggest something that means something to the both of you or is symbolic the relationship. How did you meet? How did he pop the question?

You can get a lot of ideas from browsing portfolios of wedding coordinators without spending a dime!

(My fiance and I have a lot of talking to do... we haven't even set the date!)

Well it's a winter wedding, why not try an Ice Princess getting married, you could go for lots of silvers and blues, traditionally wedding type colours, and with Christmas in December, could pick up silver and blue decorations, tinsel, balloons, baubles etc.

You could ask guest to all wear blue on your side of the family,
and maybe, silver, black and white on his side of the family.
