There are seemingly endless debates over which is the longest word in English, demonstrating that the idea of what constitutes a word is not as straightforward as it seems.
The longest word in any major English language dictionary is pneumonoÂultraÂmicroÂscopicÂsilicoÂvolcanoÂconiosis, a 45-letter word supposed to refer to a lung disease, but research has discovered that this word was originally intended as a hoax. It has since been used in a close approximation of its originally intended meaning, lending at least some degree of validity to its claim.
The Oxford English Dictionary contains pseudopseudohypoparathyroidism (30 letters).
The longest non-technical word is
flocciÂnauciÂnihiliÂpiliÂfication
(29 letters).

Hi,
Dr Noam Chomsky, who is a linguist has noted that the longest word in non technical English is
ANTIDISESTABLISHMENTARIANISMS.
I think there can be another one,
TELECOMMUNICATIONABILITIZERS.
I checked for the anti...answer in MIT linguistics video archive. antidise... is the correct answer.
