What used to be called Pluto is 97 percent nitrogen ice (what's that?) and 3 percent methane ice (CH4 right?). Dry ice, CO2 ice, has no liquid state and goes from solid right to gas. Are there any planets, dwarf planets, or moons with H20 ice besides Europa?

We now know that Mars has water ice. Mercury may have water ice on its dark side, but it's doubtful. Venus is to hot for water to exist in liquid form, let alone ice. It's highly likely that the rest of the planets and their moons have water ice as well. Comets are thought to be composed of large quantities of water ice.

BTW, Pluto is still called Pluto, and us diehards still think it's a planet. (When this spell checker gets to diehards, it offers dotards and jihads. hmmmmmm)

dont know about the rest but co2 actually does have a liquid form, co2 as liquid can be found in many fire extinguishers, paintball tanks, some aerosol cans and those air blowers that you can buy to spray off the dust from electronics. but it has to be under pressure, that's why liquid co2 is not found in nature on earth.
the easiest way to tell if something uses liquid co2 is when you discharge the cannister it gets cold.

back to your question-- mars has polar ice caps. :)

Earth, and i think they said that there was some underneath the surfuce of Mars some 30 meters, but it's frozen, so that's why there is no life on Mars.
