Can anyone tell me the difference between the two offences in Singapore. In my understanding, vandalism is confined to damaging public property. Is this correct.

mischief is usually a lower level which may include joking or teasing or even over drinking by some meanings....but vandalism is disturbing maintainence of public order.....and therefore there is a huge difference b/w the 2.

mischief is like soaping someones windows at halloween vandalism is destroying someones property or belongings breaking in a vehicle stick with mischief

vandalism is by depriving the rightful own the use because it was somehow destroyed or useless tempered with
