yes all religions teach same thing. everyone knows god is one. but the trouble is everyone thinks that his/ her god is the only one.teaching is same but learners are many.each one has his/her own interpretation.recently there was a question in this site. " why can't all of us have only one god ? come all of us will join And consider allah as the supreme god & pray to him "now why should a christian or a hindu consider allah as his/her god ?so, if we really want ti join together we should give a new name to god. say humanity or peace, or universal which does not belong to any religion.can anybody think of a name like that ?

God is one, undoubtedly. But, the perception of God differs from person to person, from religion to religion. Recall the story a lion being examined by different blind men. A blind touch the leg of the elephant and thought that the elephant is like the trunk of a tree. Another who touched the ear thought it to be like a big pot. Another who touched the trunk of the elephant came to believe that it is like a pillar. Human kind is so much divided in terms of the circumstances in which they live and in term of their life experience that it is difficult to expect uniformity in the perception of God. God is so universal and omnipotent, that he fits into any definition of Himself. The Sun is so bigger than earth that people in one part of the world like at as a morning sun; for some others it is a scorching mid-day sun; and still for some more he is a cool evening sun. There are some persons, for whom sun is not visible because of the night or of its position in the polar region. Hence, the different perceptions about God, althougt he is one.

I once read a story which probably even you are aware of . Still I will mention it . Once seven blindfold persons are asked to touch an elephant (of course, they don't know its an animal) and judge what it is ? Somebody touches his ear & thinks it to be a banana leaf , somebody touches his teeth & thinks it to be a sword . For another, the tail is a rope........etc..............
Same way, there is only one God . All the religions are streamlined and have the same teachings . Its just our blindfold & frozen minds which keeps differentiating & accepts only what it wants to but not what actually is true .

Because the paths/ways to truth may be different. the religions, while teaching the same thing, could differ. The truth of God being related to one's self as well as the world around-is both objective and subjective.Accordingly, there can be as many God perceptions as there are natures.

people know by birth that God exist and most of them take it as granted, and never think about Him.

How said that EVERYONE think that God is ONE. Christians don't... Hindus as well.... many others don't. Some don't even believe that God exists!

I think only Muslims and Jews do

different religions are made by us only andnotbody else. if me and you start praying all the religions than there won't be any difference in religions.
First we have to make ourself understand that there is one religion and we do it than there won't be this question of difference.
