No, there is plenty in the notational reserves, plus recently a big find was made in the gulf of Mexico. This find could boost the reserves by at least 50% some analyst estimate. But its going to be a few years before they actually start the process.

There are adequate supplies of both gasoline and natural gas. However, the cost of recovering these has been increasing and price declines anytime soon are not likely.

Hell no it's propaganda and it is making the oil companies rich.I have been toying with the idea of a company by company boycott I.E. No one buys Shell one whole month. Then no one buys Exon one whole month.and so on . The consumer could then show how easy it would be to FU(K with them like they are us. I just don't have the skills to organize something like this. .
