no. most girls @women have them for40 or more years. talk to your mother about this. it may not be comfortable ,but at least you'll know all the facts!!!!

Haha. No girl can die from her period. If you are a girl getting her period for the first time, the cramps in your lower abdomen are normal and just take some pain meds. for that. If you're a guy, no girl can die from their period because it's the lining of the uterus tearing off because the egg wasn't fertilized in the fallopian tubes. The blood will not cause the girl to bleed to death.

No,girls cannot die from a regular monthly period.If the bleeding is too heavy and it makes you concerned,you need to get to gyno to make sure there isnt something wrong.It is very normal to feel that way as it makes you feel as if you are dying,but your not.Anyone who laughed at this question either isnt a female,or isnt old enough to understand.I am an adult,and you seem quite young but it is ok to have questions and it is ok to ask.However,i would urge you to speak with your mother or a close trusted female family member.Speaking with your mother of this issue may seem embarassing but,she goes through it,shes been there.She understands more than you realise,no question about your body is silly or stupid.You are learning about yourself and that is normal and very good.You asking your mother will open up a door of communication.It will allow you to speak openly about not only this issue but other issues later in your teen years.Good luck.

The only way a girl can die due to their period is if they get TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) and don't get treatment for it but even then that's not really the fault of having a period, it's the risk of using a tampon.

ignore the jerks. No, you can't die from a period. It may seem like a lot of blood, but you only bleed about 2 teaspoons during the course of the whole thing (of course, there will be some variation). The rest is mucus and tissue.

no there r no records of girl dieing from haveing there periods there might have been other complications but no, cramps can be painfull try ibprofin or advil or a heating pad helps of if u dont have a heating pad try a water bottle with hot water in it.

I have never heard of a girl dying due to having her period. The only explanation I have is TSS which is a sickness caused by improper tampon use.

Better ask an older lady who have experience of all these facts and ready to help any upcoming adolescent girl. D'not be shy and ask your mother or older sister.
If you ca'not ask them I think you do not require the information being a guy and forget going into the territory of girls.

No, you can't die from your period.
If the cramps are very painful try taking some crampbark, or ibuprofen and laying down with a heating pad.
If you are really worried, consider talking to a female doctor about it.
