How do you keep yourself from smelling like cigarette smoke?

Your breath is the easy part, but not what usually gives you away.
First and foremost, WASH YOUR HANDS! Try to use a deodorant soap too. While you are at it, you may as well wash your face too! It gets on your clothes too, especially if you were smoking indoors. Febreeze works great on that. You can spray it right on your clothes while wearing them and you spray the area you were smoking in too.
Of course, you must do something about your breath. I've found gum doesn't really do much. Brushing your teeth is the best, but if you can't do that, rinse your mouth out with at least water, then use one of those Listerine thin strip things. They work good. Don't forget to wash your lips! Actually, I used to take a little squirt bottle with me that had body spray in it, and when the body spray ran out, I would use FeBreeze!!! It's really helps and makes you smell clean. Buy some really powerful gum to cover your breath, or Listerine Pocket Packs work too. Avoid wearing a jacket all the time, or at least the same one. Make sure you wash your clothes, lol. Otherwise, those are the best tips I can give ya. Good Luck!!

Keep fabric softner sheets "hidden" around the house. I keep one sheet in my dresser, under the couch, under the seat in my car, etc. If I have a lot of people over at my house, (I almost always do), (I live with 3 people, and we all have our friends), I tape one sheet to the top of one of the blades on the ceiling fan and turn it on. I also suggest one in the filter area of your air conditioner.

P. S.-Experiment with different scents. Some scents are a lot stronger than others. You may have to cut the sheets with scissors if you choose to put them everywhere.

Downy's Lavender Vanilla smells awesome, it's subtle, and I only have to switch them once every other month or so. I get a lot of compliments from everyone. Bounce lasts about the same, but is really strong, so use sparingly.

It's easy and cheap and you don't have to do it all the time. You can forget about it for a while. It works for me. Hope it helps. Bye dude.

Wear a velvet or silk "smoking jacket". Cigar smokers used to wear a smoking jacket to deter the tobacco smells from imbedding in their clothes as velvet or silk is less receptive to cigar smoke.

try finding an air freshener called ozium its a little expensive but i just spray a little in the air and walk through te mist takes care of the problem

i carry a can of axe body spray in my backpack, and a travel size can in my pocket if i dont have my backpack. spray it on before you face people. i like the "essence" scent, but theyre all good.
