My favorites right now are Tempest, Molly, and Corinne. But I am definately open to other suggestions.

The character is a sexy, dark haired 18 year old girl. She is nice though... not a *****. And she likes the "Indie" lifestyle.

Thanks!

I like Tempest too... it's my favourite anyways. She sounds mysterious, romantic, long dark curly hair dark eyes, extraordinarily beautiful, very complicated as a person, noone really understands her even though she is a genuinely good chick. For some reason I picture someone who looks like Eliza Dushku...

Corinne could work, but for some reason it sounds like she should be a little (just a little!) "chubby"... well not really, just that for some reason I picture a "Corinne" would have big boobs, you know, in a nice black singlet with a flash of very slightly rounded midriff showing, maybe a navel piercing...

Molly doesn't work for me for some reason... I guess cause I watched the TV turns 50 thing last night and it reminded me of when Molly died on A Country Practice.

Anyway, good luck with your book.

Tempest is great.

What about the name Kalliope? Two meanings - She was one of the Greek Muses (music and poetry), and she was also an ancient witch - kind of Ying/Yang thing?!?!?! Her nickname could be Kalli.

What about the name Bliss?

Abigail. I know a beautiful girl named Abigail. Or give her an "Ugly Girl Name" like Suzann. People judge on names. If you give her an unpopular name they will have a picture of an ugly girl. But if you did a good job in writing about her then there perception of her will change.
