How has it affected you?

The idea is that change in a way - or pattern- of thinking occurs, allowing people to see things from a new perspective. An example would be viewing humans as collection of cells instead of a unified item, or viewing PCs as outliers to a central connecting network instead of playing a central role in the computing space, etc.

Hope this helps!

paradigm shifts happen because of life changing experiences. once something affects you so much that it changes your psyche it in effect changes your life. you are the sum total of all of your experiences. positive and negative. my life changed recently due to a near death experience. i no longer fear death. in a strange way i learned that although i was very successful, i was still unhappy because of stored up anger. when i let go of the anger it changed my relationships in a positive way. for the first time in 50 yrs i am able to not only feel love but give it.

paradigm is just another word for pattern, so if I take this literally, then it is just a change in pattern....

Sure, it happens all the time, expecially to my sleep schedule.
