Look at one job, thing to do at a time, do it consciously, with deep involvement, and never mind the ' seemingly ' waste of time on such small singular job. But take care to become good at it so that each time you do such repetitive routine jobs, you improve so well, that it becomes easy, quick, and needing very little or no attention/focusing of mind !
This way, the mind is trained to acquire dexterity in almost everything we do, and over a period of time, we have more leisure to live the way we like, at the pace that suits us.

That is a very good question. We are moving so fast that we are not actually taking things in. Not even what we have achieved. We will get to be eighty, and will say, " where did it all go"?

What is that poem that goes, " What is life if full of care, there is no time to stand and stare". It goes on from there.

It is the other way round. Time is fast and life is short. so what can we do in the shortest possible time. Look at the achievers
of the world. They went on doing what they had undertaken to do
they crossed the goal before time ran out. Remember " psalm of life ? quote two stanzas
Art is long and time is fleeting and our hearts though stout and brave, like the muffled drums are beating funeral marches to the Grave
"life of great men all remind us we can make our life sublime, and departing leave behind us foot prints on the sands of time"

you mean time is moving so fast. there is nothing we can do to slow it down. the only approach is to live life to its fullest. this may sound cliche but the idea is to incorporate everything we enjoy doing into the days we have left to live. besides time moving so fast it is unpredictable like our lives. it can be snatched away in an instant at any time.

Sit and watch the clock move all ... day ... long. You'll never have a longer day. Oh, and you have to sit in the same place all day too. You can have bathroom breaks and somebody will bring you some food, but you have to stay right where you are the rest of the time. No books, no TV, no computer, no humming, no crosswords, no knitting, no anything. Just you, your seat, and the clock. Enjoy.

Try doing different things, or do things differently. Brush your teeth in the garden, take a different route work, go somewhere you've never been before... We've all had an experience of a long weekend away that seems like a week...

i recognize it really is stereotypical, yet frequently in a courting, this is the guy it really is pushing issues to bypass more effective. so that you'll likely be the only to decline, so make positive that if he's getting pushy or attempting to get issues to bypass more effective you be agency. also, set floor guidelines, like we are able to not bypass more effective than... (kissing?) in basic terms be fairly agency. also, do not spend too a lot time on my own, in a mattress room, in mattress. bypass out and do issues or be with mutual pals quite some the time and then perhaps spend like 10 minutes making out.

Believe it or not but sit down and do nothing for 10 minutes or so. have a dedicated lunchbreak or take a walk around the local park. it helps.

Take a moment to close your eyes and breathe in deeply. Smell the air, feel the breeze and the sun on your skin, listen to the sounds around you and just feel fully alive.

Wait. Just wait. Preferably while watching the clock.

Because I'm sure you have noticed that time always seems slower when you wait for something. Especially when you keep watching the clock.
