If sun really means Ravi, as someone else indicated, you may want to use Sunshine as your boyfriend's nickname. It's a very popular nickname in the USA and is used to refer to boyfriends and girlfriends.
Also, there's a cute song entitled "You are my Sunshine" which you could sing to him when you are particularly happy with him.

call him 'Bi' which is short for Baby. If he ends up as your husband, u can still call him "Bi" which then becomes the short form for Hubby :)
