The City CVT is in my opinion, the most suitable car for city driving. It is about the right size to squeeze through city traffic, the CVT is efficient, its comforatble and above all very reliable. The Continuously Variable Transmission will have some sort of a rubber band feeling with it. That is, you feel a certain delay and then a sudden forward motion as the CVT changes the gear ratios.Though there is no cause for concern, this feeling may be strange to those accustomed to regular automatics. Well, told you because you asked for negative points.
The City may be high in maintanance costs and parts price. Buy it with your eyes shut. The best city car in my opinion(considering it has a boot(otherwise the Santro auto)).

Overall, Honda cars are good cars. The CVT model is better than their regular model, if you are looking for more power.
Other than the looks of the car, I can't think of any minus points.
In some places their dealer network is not so strong.

the only thing that i can think of is that the CVT transmission is still in its baby stages, and could have some major issues in the future, other than that, I have an 05 honda Civic, and LOVE IT!

one minus point - bad guys loves to steal them.

if you want your money's worth, never go for american cars, trucks maybe but not cars. this is true whether in US or outside US. its no coincidence that of the 31 top cars from 2006 consumer's report only 2 of them were americans. that tells you alot about US cars.

anyway, i dont think honda city is offered in US.
