Be open minded to what she may say for example don't be to ready to make negative judgments about her this will show her that you're really making an attempt to know and understand her.
Be yourself because someone that's shy are like microscopes, always looking, observing you, especially those with trust issues.
Create an environment of comfort, by finding out what she likes or things she does for fun and do it with her, it will make it easy for her to open up to you.

People bring out different sides of others around them ... My friends say i bring out the loud happy bubbly side of people even the shy ones seem to have a voice when they're around me, it's probably so they can get a word in edge ways but who cares ... If your talkative and bubbly people tend to be happy and bubbly around you ... give it a shot ... good luck

Try making her laugh, that usually eases the tension and maybe she'll feel more relaxed and will talk.

Give her a chance to get to know you. Once she trusts you, she'll open up.
