I am biased because I am a HUGE Twins fan, but do you think that they have a chance? They had a little bad luck earlier in the season, but they have been hot lately. Even with Radke and Lliriano getting injured, they still win games. Mauer is such a talented player, as is Morneau. Santana is, well, Santana! Baker played a great game yesterday. Tori Hunter has been on a roll. Could they take the division? Chicago has a pretty tough schedule (in my opinion) and they are falling behind. Detriot hasn't been playing REALLY well lately. Decent, but not fantastic. The Twins are definitely creeping up.
I think they really deserve either the division or the wild card. They have made an amazing comeback, and I would love to see them continue!!

The twins have a lock for the wild card since the sox and tigers have to play each other. Either the tigers win and give the twins a further lead in the wild card or the sox win and give the twins the division, either way if twins win there in good situation. There opening up a series against boston who they've swept earlier in the season when boston had a healthy ortiz, papelbon and manny rammeriz. They should take 2 out of three. If they do they'll either be leading the division or being 5 games up in the wildcard.
The key to twins success is if Silvia can keep consistant like he has last 3 games and if one of the rookies, baker, garza, bonser can step up. Most likely Radke will be back last week and will be dominate like he was before he went on the DL. Twins have to win the division if they want to get past the first round since wild card will have to play the yankees who the twins don't match up well with. If we win the divison we can easily beat the A's. Go Twins!!!

The Twins are in either way. I think they will likely win the division at this point. The season ending series with the White Sox bothers me a little. The Tigers appear to be in real trouble in the last few weeks. It looks right now the White Sox can't make up 4 games on the Twins to pass them but could be "spoilers" with 3 games left against the Tigers and Twins. I like all 3 teams and wish they could all make the playoffs but of course that is impossible. The Twins look like the strongest of the 3 right now, and the one with the best chance to get to the WS.

I'm almost positive the Tigers will take the Division,
but I know the Twins can win the Division if Santana
keeps being, well, Santana!

For sure, the Twins will win the Division. The Twins are a scary team because they can beat you a number of different ways (good defense, great pitching, terrific bullpen, timely hitting, etc.).
I'm an A's fan, and I don't want to see Minnesota in the playoffs. I'd rather get Detroit or New York.

Yes, they will win the division, they are destined to, and might be destined to win it all this year, they've been hot since June! Even without Liriano they keep on rolling, it's looking like '87 and '91 all over again.
