Sounds to me like a lame excuse to get touched. It's my honest opinion that people should never ask others for massages unless it's clear that they need one.
However, sometimes that need is developed from receiving a really good massage. If you ever get a good massage, you will know why people ask for them.
In a relationship, if your significant other can't give one worth a damn, go take a massaging class at your local community centre together!
