I ran towards an exit door, the escape you showed me. You led me to a path I'd never want to leave. You taught me to break out of my own cage and see the world through your eyes. Hero, your world struck me speechless. Rain engulfed me, drop by drop, on my skin. Its night and the lights are shining brightly like the glittering stars above me. Cars driving by - tires on the wet road - numb in my ears. The breeze leaves me breathless. I feel like dancing, with faint music in the distance. My nose and cheeks red by the chill. Yet I have no jacket on.

If only I could walk on and on, smiling to myself. But I've got a destination to reach. I can sense your presence with me, walking along, carrying my burdens. Ready to catch me in your steady hands if I fall. I stop and grasp the freedom, open my mouth and let the fain fall in. The taste I longed for, lifting my soul and let it all go as I opened my fist and spread out my arms. Take me away. I close my eyes.

The crisp, fresh wind blows against me. My hair flowing everywhere and I feel beautiful for once, like a princess all alone in the darkness. I wish I could see you. If I could, I'd hug you and thank you for this freedom. I listen to my heart beat, faster by every second. This beautiful night - I'd never trade at gunpoint.

You know Hero, I find you everywhere, and I see you tonight in the air, in the darkness that revolves around me. In those eyes I find your courage. You hold my burdens till I'm strong enough to stand on my own feet. You make me alive as the rest fades in time. Your integrity and trust are flowing in this breeze tonight because Hero, the taste of freedom still lingers in my tongue. The freedom you gave me as you beautify my world. It stayed with me even as I ran back though the same door and wait till you come save me again.

For me...

Freedom is the freedom to do the right, the just things without the fear of punishment from the state, opposition from the society and hindrance from the neighbouts.

Fun, is a way to recharge myself in a manner that makes me physically and mentally healthy. That can be through sports, reading, or physical activities.

Yeah, spectacular writing! Wow.... Definitely brightened my mood, lifted my Spirit.

I am going to say to me Freedom, Fun, "Bliss" as one person mentioned, are relative terms. Freedom is definitely the OPPOSITE of surrender; it's always having one more card up your sleeve and another twinkle in your eye. Freedom to me is defiance of oppressive forces, even rising above them on a whole new ground. And fun is in that defiance of said forces that offend your deepest belief in "what must exist under this ugly veil," and seeing the bewilderment in their eyes as you transcend their world, with their slaves merrily in tow.
