I believe I would be 10yrs old again. I would laugh, cry, jump for joy. All the people who were dear to me would still be alive and here with me. I would not waste a minute of the time that i had with them. I would not be in pain both physically and mentally. I think, at that age, i still believed in dreams coming true.

G'day Kharmaangel328,
Thank you for your question.
I am a 44 single government employee in Canberra, Australia.
Under that scenario, I would wake up one morning at 12 or 13 with all the things that you have in dreams such as super powers and stunningly attractive.
Needless to say, this never happens when I wake up in real life.
Regards

Since in my dreams I am always either my current age or younger, I doubt I would be older in your scenario. (Is it even possible to be older in one's dreams? I suppose it is...)
And like someone else said: Since I currently dream, then those dreams would have been dreams-within-dreams, which is a little Matrix-like.
So in your scenario, I'd have to assume that each person's entire life is occurring simultaneously, that is all in one instance, and as in space, time really doesn't exist, and our moments of self-realization, whether in dreams or presumed awakeness, are able to bend back upon one another, such as with deja vu, and therefore, we are perhaps living multiple "lives" simultaneously , each without conscious knowledge of the other.
Dreams, nightmares, daydreams, seizures, unconsciousness, amnesia, knockouts, multi-personality disorders..... all rely on the notion that only ONE form and time of consciousness is REAL. But what if that is not so?

I would say hey, that was one looong dream, I even dreamt I went to sleep every night and had dreams within that longer dream. And I would also say, who the heck am I? Where do I live? What do I do for a living? Am I married or what? Am I right-handed or left-handed? Do I know how to walk?

Your whole life is a dream !
You live til you're 99 , hope so, it takes more time than that for light to reach the nearest star, and it's a universal blink of an eye.
May be we are all dreams in Gods mind. Who knows for sure ?
Yours truly;
Jonnie

Yes, very close to even purpose of life.
The first thing that one tries to find out on waking is whether he is alive (through sense organs ! remember the jerk in mind when one of the limbs are numb, due to pressure on it ,lack of blood flow, etc) ! The next is to find out in what time zone of life we are in !
All this happens in a fraction of a moment, and goes un-noticed because we get caught up in things around. You can notice the time lag in children just reaching the self awareness state, when they take time to get moving out of bed even after waking ! Spiritual Master have been using this precious entry and coming out state to make it happen in awareness, since it deepens the levels of perception !
Try to go to sleep consciously, the attempt is important qualitatively, and you will notice sharpening of your awareness/alertness !

I'm 23, i thinK you would not worry really, cause happens that no matter what are you dreaming, when you wake up you always remember where you are, it like the phrase "this moment it's your life".

well who knows what the reality would be then? i have thought about this, just for fun. i always picture myself as coming to in a mental hospital, having spent the last x amount of time staring off into space. i never really thought about how old i would be. i guess however old i am at the time of the thought.

You wouldnt realize the difference because dreams are a reality until you wake up. Its a paradox.

Well, I don't really think that way because I don't think that my life is a dream. I think we really do experience it, consciously. I do, however, think a lot about 'forever.' In Christian faith, we are taught that when we die, we go to heaven and live in God's kingdom forever. Well, how long is forever? It's not some board game or movie that has a start and finish. I think THAT is really creepy to think about...
