Try the canned stuff but don't eat too much or you'll split Olive Oyl right up the middle. Do Brutus instead.

i think canned spinach is safe it was fresh and frozen they are worried about,, e coli virus in it

Canned or frozen, and cook it well! Add some salt, pepper, vinegar and butter!
