I was using a combination of Creatine & Hydroxycut. My doctor found some "points" depreciation in my liver count. He told me he see's this a lot in patients using muscle building supplements. He said this MAY be related to my supplement use. He was unable to determine which of the two supplements MAY have caused my condition. It could've been one or the other or a combination of both IF my condition was caused by supplements. He told me these supplements are not regulated by the FDA because they MAY cause side effects to our major body organs. Although I was making major gains especially in my biceps while I was on these supplements I took my doctor's advise and stopped taking them. Shortly thereafter I got a kidney infection caused by a kidney stone. The pain was excruciating and I was hospitalized for 5 days. My doctor stated this MAY have been a side affect from the supplements. After I recovered I trained harder without them and still gained good muscle & mass.

2. Kidney stones are the #1 problem with Creatine. Ouch!

3. For a short period of time, it may be worth it. It will give you a jump start, but don't mess with it for too long.
