A woman is most fertile the 5 days to almost a week BEFORE your menstrual period. This is the time you are ovulating, your body is preparing for possible pregnancy. You will notice this when you feel feverish. This is because, medically a fertile woman will have her temperature higher than 1 degree. Hope this helps. God bless!

I am a OB/GYN and I can tell you 14 days after the start of your menstrual. So if you started Oct1 the Oct 14 you will be fertile for 3 days. Always count 14 days from the day you start.
