I have been a life-long ND fan (okay, I'm only 26), but I think that they have been over-rated. They are a Top 15 team, but not a Top Ten. They have a great offense, but next to no defense. "Offense gives a show, but defense wins championships." That saying is completely true. I am glad that Charlie Weis is the HC (yup, I'm also a Pats fan), and I am sure they will return to the National Championship within a few years. They just need to build a defense.

Truly it was a bad day to be a Notre Dame fan. But every year they play the toughest schedule and are bound to have a loss or two. But not like that!

HEY! i wanna go to the Roseball!! How can ND lose to scUM? umm horrible corners/horrible O line. Thats how. Can't blame quinn or d-walk. Quinn had no time and a hand on him at all times and d-walk had no holes to run through. Heres what will happen...ND will lose one more and go to a decent BOWL and everyone will call them overrated cuz they are jealous of everything they have....scUM will lose 3 and go to a **** bowl and every fair weather michigan fan will jump off the bandwagon and whine.
