There is a lot of pressure being placed upon the head coach's due to the tremendous salaries offered in professional sport. It's not for the faint of heart. There is no such thing as win or loose.

Either you win or you're fired !

Are you satisfied with the head coach of your favorite football team ...if not, why not ?

The head coach of my favorite team is Mike Holmgren and not really satisfied, no. He's 1 for 3 in Superbowls and 0-1 with my team. He can change all that by taking them back and WINNING! The 'Hawks have shown that they are serious about doing just that by contracting Branch.........

Best active coach in football, that's easy, I hate his team, I hate their pansy town, I hate the name, the logo, the uniforms, I hate everything about them, except their coach, he the best coaching today..... Bill Belichick. Just check out his record. When he has his boys healthy and up, they win Superbowls, when they are all banged to hell and the team is held together with bubble gum and chicken wire, he can still kick yer butt straight to Hell on any given Sunday!

Bill Cowher. I wouldn't have said that a couple of years ago, I felt he was toooo conservative. He surprised me last year, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. I would still like to see him open up the passing game a little more. I know he never had a very good passing QB until Rothelisberger, and they will continue to be a predominantly running team, but: Big Ben has a great arm, they need to utilize it more. Still, I am overall happy with the coaching. I do think the Steeler's are the best team to be a coach for- the best owner in the league. Not quick on the trigger- they at least give a guy a chance. Unlike some teams that are ready to boot a guy in the first couple of years if he doesn't produce.

I can't understand why people think Holmgrim is a "great" coach, he's a good coach(especially compared to the many obvious incompetents out there). That said, no he ain't. I'd have to rate Parcels above him. Belechik is the best of the bunch. Tony Dungy can teach you how to choke.

Tony Dungy, coach of the Indianapolis Colts, is doing a great job! Then again, look at the great team he gets to coach... Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Brandon Stokley, Dominic Rhodes... just to name a few off the top of my head. It takes a great coach to bring out all of the top strengths of his players. Tony Dungy does a great job!
