According to my photog fren, a person who is photogenic tends to look better in photos than in person...
Thus the only way to know if a person is photogenic is to take a picture and compare it to him or her real person.
If a person looks good in photos, she will also be considered photogenic.
My friend who is a tv star says that she is always a little upset when people say she is photogenic because that means she looks uglier in person.. *hiaks*

Nobody is ever photogenic....it depends on the number of shots and the 'photogenic' angle of each individual. Even models take plenty of shots before the fashion magazine selects the best looking shot just for a single picture in the magazine. Even then, what you see eventually in the magazine is the result of photoshop and editting. Nobody's born perfect.

when a person looks good in photoes or on screen but may or may not in real that person is said to be photogenic. it feels that he/she is meant for that only.
