If you mean how can you tell if someone has installed a key logger onto your computer, I would recommend doing a search on Yahoo or Google for "Spyware" and it will give you a list of various websites that offer FREE software that can scan your computer for spyware. Of course it will also list the ones that charge, but you can try Symantec.com - they have a FREE utility online called "Security Check" as well as an online Virus Scanner. You can try running those. Be advised, though, they are only to CHECK your systems, those particular programs do NOT remove anything found, but will guide you to the proper place to download the removal tools (if any are available) - there may be a charge to download those tools, but I don't think there are.
Some other commonly downloaded programs (FREE) are Spybot S & D (Search & Destroy), Windows Defender (From Microsoft - still in BETA testing, but seems to be effective), or, you can get the latest Yahoo Toolbar which includes a free trial of Norton Internet Security - which is an incredibly useful program - but it's only a 30 day trial so you'll have to pay for it when it expires if you want to continue to use it. Another site I have heard rave reviews about is Trend Micro. They have a FREE Spyware program too.
I was just reading about these key loggers, and supposedly there are new ones out there that are "undetectable" by Spyware programs, but generally speaking, most of the ones I listed above can find any spyware-type programs. Good luck!
