My word of advice is not to pick at your pimples because they will leave red scars. They are flakey because they are trying to heal. Don't use any products that have benzoyl peroxide, sulpha, or alcohol. Try using a moisturer or look into a cosmetic whitening cream to help with the red scars.

I hope I've helped you out.

If you no longer suffer from acne and merely have scarring left behind from it, I would strongly recommend a chemical peel performed at a dermatologist's office. There are different degrees of peels ranging from light to medium to deep depending upon your level of scarring. If you cannot afford this like me, then stick with the green concealer and fantastic makeup.

You can use a green concealer to counteract the redness. That won't eliminate the red mark but it will make it appear lighter under your makeup.

Try applying cold water eventually whit out the soap, cause this contains natural grease and doesn't dry the patch.
