I'm not sure there are any that EVERYONE celebrates every year. Most people celebrate New Year's Day and their birthday but I know people who do not celebrate. There are also many national and religious holidays that come once a year but of course people of other religions or nationalities do not celebrate the same ones. Perhaps you are thinking of an anniversary but not everyone has them and not everyone who does celebrates the occasion.

A celebration everyone has once a year...I would have to say holiday or annual event.
The holidays like christmas, easter, thanksgiving, and new years.
